We use laser and bipolar radio frequency energies to damage the hair follicle. This disables the follicle from growing hair, which means that gradually over several treatments, there is a permanent reduction in the amount of hair in that area.

There is no exclusionary criteria based on skin type or hair color (the treatment approach for apigmented hairs is different than treating dark hair and the response rate may be less predictable). The applicator has an added benefit of treating large zones very fast.

In a study which included various skin types showed high rates of clearance 3 months after a single treatment. Post treatment hair extrusion occurs around 2-3 weeks. Some hair shafts can be pulled out of the follicle immediately post-treatment without resistance, indicating disengagement from the follicle while the hair shaft is still intact .

Treatment is very safe for the skin. There are many advances in the technology that make elos one of the safest hair removal systems available for all skin colors. Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and most people return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. The treated area will “shed” some hairs over the next 2-4 weeks, and patients may experience a period of hairlessness in the area while you wait for your next treatment.

Patients can return to normal activities immediately.

The Applicator combines safe and effective levels of laser and radio frequency (electric current) energies to remove leg veins and other unwanted vessels. Both laser and radio frequency have been used separately for decades in medicine and surgery, but the treatment exclusively combines light and electric energy for ideal treatment outcomes – improve leg veins and vascular lesions with a very low risk of side effects.

The treatment can improve unsightly leg veins, facial spider veins and other unwanted vascular lesions. Spider veins and larger blue-green vessels on legs will gradually fade and can be treated until patient satisfaction has been reached.

Most patients will have between 1-3 treatments. Some vessels may require more than 3 treatment sessions.
 
Treatment sessions are typically 6-8 weeks apart. Smaller spider veins may be treated every 4 weeks.
 
The sensation may be described as a “hot pinch”. Patients tolerate treatment well by use of either cooling the skin during treatment and/or use of a topical anesthetic cream that numbs the skin.
 

ANY medical laser procedure has risk of side effects such as superficial blistering, crusting, and pigmentation changes in the skin. These risks are rare and usually quickly resolved. Typical treatment protocol is 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient. How is the Sublative Rejuvenation treatment tolerated by patients? During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters their skin. After treatment a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is also common. Topical anesthetic ointments and cooling are often used to reduce discomfort during treatment.
 
The treatment tip will need to be cleaned every 25 pulses. The system will stop pulsing and ask that you clean the treatment tip. The tip should not be removed but rather wiped down with a gauze pad moistened with 70% alcohol.
